Fancy is just what Brody needs - he is attracted to her as soon as he meets her, through a series of mishaps at her bakery they start to date, which leads to Brody being kidnapped - can they get to him in time (I was shocked at who the kidnapper was) - will they also find out who is kidnapping and killing the sub's. Really looking forward to the next book.
I love the characters and most of the plots of this series, but ENOUGH with the (sometimes verbatim), overly long repetition of facts, background info, descriptions of recurring settings and character facts. I know it's for the benefit of readers who may not have read earlier books, but these sections need to be reworked, shorter and less repetitious for those who have. I find myself skipping pages to get past sunbathing I've read 5 or 6 times already. It uses too much space and detracts from the plot. Also, a little work on grammar, spelling, etc. would be beneficial. It was pretty good in the first few books, but proofreading and editing obviously have started to take a backseat as the publishing activity sped up.
This was a revisiting of friends. With the Steel and Trident crossover waiting for me, I've revisited the Sexy Six Pack and Steel Corp in their entirety. What was different was appreciating this missive more deeply from Fancy's perspective. As Franchise was a widow, albeit a young widow, one nonetheless. I've recently experienced that loss and my tears flowed more freely with the totality of Brody's encompassing love and acceptance of Fancy's life experiences of who she is. A different spin of a review for a book with kink (which is awesome), suspense and relationships. This read raced my heart, warmed my heart and a few other parts ....
HOT HOT is all I can say. I knew Brody's book would be. Fancy and Brody met at her bakery but she knew from the get go he was a flirt. But Brody was relentless to say the least. After a past of so much hurt and loss she finally gave into him and enjoyed their time together. When it came time to tell Fancy about his lifestyle he was scared she would leave. Surprise though before her husband died they had started out in that lifestyle .
Lots of twist and turns in this Book but oh so happy Brody found his soul mate.
Great series....
This one of Samantha Cole's really got to me. It is full of falling in love again after losing the love of your life. Mystery between the vandalism and the missing subs. Horror of finding some of the subs. Kindness bestowed on a vet who suffers from PTSD. A sub finding the missing part herself she didn't realize she needed. A baby making an appearance finally. The hardest part is when a team member goes missing.
This one is full of emotions and up and down rollercoasters.
Brody is the last of the Sexy Six Pack to fall in love. He meets Fancy when he accompanied Angie to the Bakery for her wedding cake. He falls instantly for Fancy. Fancy is a little reluctant to fall for another guy, her husband had died 3 year's earlier and she hasn't been ready till now. Strange things have been happening at her bakery. Brody helps install security cameras much to the displeasure of Fancy's former brother-in-law Corey. Also through out this book we have a mysterious physco going around abducting subs. This was a great story with a few unanswered questions. and a lot of twist and turns.
I decided to wait to read book 6 of Samantha A. Cole's Trident Security Series, until the weekend! I knew once I started it, I wouldn't want to put it down until I finished. I was right! So much going on in this story. The twist and turns, not knowing what was going to happen kept me reading until I finished it. The little twin girls, the helicopter ride, the interactions between all the characters, the suspense and of course having a front row seat to the blossoming romance between Brody and Fancy ..all those that make it another fantastic Samantha A. Cole book! Look forward to seeing what is next for the men and women of Trident!
